Managing a chronic condition like diabetes is a long and often overwhelming journey. The illustrations needed to make that journey feel less daunting and more like something a person could actually see themselves doing.
Solution
We created the illustration system for Sugarfit's web and app, building a visual language that made a clinical product feel inviting, human, and approachable. We created a mix of character illustrations, onboarding screens, and UI illustrations that worked together to give the platform a consistent, huma n feel. The visual world was compassionate without being simplistic, and clear without being clinical, making complex health information feel accessible at every step of the user journey.
Strategy
The illustration system needed to hold across a wide range of contexts, from onboarding flows to in-app coaching moments to web-facing marketing. We built it to be flexible enough to serve all of these without losing coherence, so every touchpoint felt like part of the same considered experience.
Result
The illustrations are now live across Sugarfit's web and app, used by over 150,000 people managing diabetes and weight across India.
